The Writing and Communication Centre is excited to announce the return of in-person appointments! Beginning on March 14, when booking your appointment with us, you have the option to choose an in-person or a virtual appointment with most advisors. Please note that some advisors are continuing with virtual appointments only.
To attend an in-person appointment students must be able to confirm that they are eligible to be on campus and that they have passed the Campus Check-in screening questions. Students who don’t pass the screening but would still like to attend their appointments can email wcc@uwaterloo.ca, and we will switch your appointment from in-person to online. Students are also required to remain masked throughout their appointment and while inside South Campus Hall.
To keep a safe physical distance during appointments, Advisors cannot work from shared printed documents. Students will have the option of providing links to their documents (via any cloud-based program: Office 365, Google, DropBox, etc.) anytime before their appointment begins, or they will be required to bring a hard copy of their documents for their Advisor to their appointment.
