Virtual Writing Cafés are now Hybrid Writing Cafes

As campus opens up again, we’ve moved from fully virtual writing cafés to Hybrid Writing Cafés this term. Grad students now have the option to connect with your fellow writers in both a virtual and in- person setting.  

In-person cafés take place in the GSA SLC Grad Lounge from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. At this time the in-person cafés are limited to graduate students and can only be accessed by using a graduate student WATcard. Postdocs, faculty, and instructors can still join any of our cafés through the Waterloo Writes LEARN page.
