Meghan Ashdown is a seasoned communications and administrative professional with over seventeen years of experience in coordinating and delivering student support services at two esteemed universities. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Equity and Gender Studies from the University of Toronto (2010) and has further enhanced her expertise through advanced studies in project management, graphic design, and peace and conflict studies. She is currently pursing a Masters of Education.
In her role at the Writing and Communication Centre (WCC), Meghan is responsible for managing the operational and business functions of the Centre. Her duties encompass overseeing all marketing and communications activities, which include managing the WCC’s website and social media presence, coordinating outreach, and designing marketing materials.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Meghan is a devoted mother of two. She enjoys singing, painting, and delving into captivating secondary-world fantasy novels in her spare time.
