Our Commitment to Sustainability
UW Food Services Joins Green Office
The Green Office program engages the University of Waterloo community specifically staff and faculty to be a part of the change they want to see! The program promotes initiatives to make our campus greener and more sustainable.
In 2019, UW Food Services joined the Green Office and ever since we have been committed to evaluating our practices and improving our sustainability practices. From 2019 to 2022, we were recognized as a Bronze Certified Green Office. In 2023 we were recognized as a Gold Certified Green Office. We are aim to continue our initiatives in order to reduce the environmental impact in our offices, homes and community.
