Purpose
To promote a better understanding of natural and human heritage for the improvement of planning management, and public policy through research, education, and extension work.
Objectives
- To encourage and facilitate heritage resources research, education, and information exchange activities at the University of Waterloo.
- To encourage cooperation among UWaterloo, other universities, and relevant government and private organizations in Ontario, Canada, and the international community.
- To stress the study of the resources that compose natural and cultural heritage.
