Reserved faculty/staff parking

Note: every effort is made to provide the parking lot of your choice, however if space is not available in the lot of your choice we do maintain a waiting list.

Lot A – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available. Visitor parking is available evenings at 3:45pm and weekends $5.00 per entry

Lot B – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available. Visitor parking is available evenings and weekends at 3:45 pm $5.00 per entry.

Lot H – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available. Visitor parking is available evenings and weekends at 3:45 pm $5.00 per entry.

Lot K – permit controlled

Permits are sold to staff members of the residence buildings if space is available.

Lot L – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available. There is currently no evening or weekend parking available.

Lot O – card controlled/visitor

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available.  Visitor parking is available all day/evening at $5.00 per day.  This lot is a pay on exit and is also designed to accept tokens given by the clinics at Optometry.

Lot R – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty and staff if space is available. Visitor parking is available evenings and weekends at 3:45 pm $5.00 per entry

Lot T – card controlled

Permits are sold to faculty, staff and residents of Velocity. Evening and weekend parking for visitors is available until 10:00 pm each night at the meters.  Overnight parking requires a permit purchased from Parking Services. 

Unreserved student permit

Lot C - permit controlled

Permits are sold to students on a per term basis. A valid permit must be displayed at all times. Students may use all student unreserved parking lots when they have purchased a valid permit.  Lot C is also a pay and display lot for visitors week days after 3:45 pm, all day Friday and all weekend at a cost of $5.00 per day.

Lot N - permit controlled/visitor pay and display

Permits are sold to students on a per term basis. Visitor parking is available at all times by purchasing a ticket from the pay and display machine. A valid permit must be displayed at all times. Students may use all student unreserved parking lots when they have purchased a valid permit/ticket.

Lot W - permit controlled/visitor pay and display

Permits are sold to students on a per term basis. Visitor parking is available at all times by purchasing a ticket from the pay and display machine. A valid permit must be displayed at all times. Students may use all student unreserved parking lots when they have purchased a valid permit/ticket.

Lot X - permit controlled/visitor pay and display

Permits are sold to students on a per term basis. Visitor parking is available at all times by purchasing a ticket from the pay and display machine. A valid permit must be displayed at all times. Students may use all student unreserved parking lots when they have purchased a valid permit/ticket. Permits are also sold to Faculty and Staff.  Lot X is open and free from 4:00 pm Friday until 6:00 am Monday.

Attendant parking

Lot D – attendant lot

Visitor parking $2.00 per hour, daily maximum of $15.00 Evenings  after 5:00 pm and weekends $5.00 per entry.

Lot H – attendant lot – deposit on entry

Visitor parking $2.00 per hour, daily maximum of $10.00. Evenings after 3:45pm and weekends $5.00 per entry.

Visitor parking

Lot M – pay and display (permit valid in lot M only)

Visitor parking available at all times $6.00 per entry.

Residence parking

Current residence agreement must be shown prior to a permit being issued. Permits are only issued in the parking lot which covers the residence in which you live.

Lot Columbia Lake Village (CLV) - S permit controlled / visitor pay and display

Permits are available for students living at CLV - S (units 1-100 only).

Lot J – permit controlled

Permits are available for students living in Village 1, William Lyon MacKenzie King and Ron Eydt Village. When residence parking lots are sold out overflow parking is available in lot X.

Lot S – permit controlled / visitor pay and display

Permits are available for students living in Village 1, William Lyon MacKenzie King and Ron Eydt Village. When residence parking lots are sold out overflow parking is available in lot X.

Lot University of Waterloo Place– Permit controlled / residence permit / visitor pay and display

Permits are available for students living at University of Waterloo Place. Pay and display available for visitor parking.

Lot V - permit controlled

Permits are available for students living in Village 1, William Lyon MacKenzie King and Ron Eydt Village. When residence parking lots are sold out overflow parking is available in lot X.

Faculty/staff permit parking

Faculty/staff members with a valid parking decal may park in any ungated lot after 4:30 pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Miscellaneous parking

Lot ECH – permit controlled

Permit parking for contractors doing campus construction only.

Lot E

Contractor permit parking only between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.  Lot is enforced by University of Waterloo Parking Services.  Free parking after 6:00 pm daily.
