Engineering Students win 2nd prize at IDeA competition

Engineering students Motaz Al-Ashhab , Anuja Chokshi, Astor Wong, and Eric Wong won 2nd place (plus the bonus prize!) at the Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA)  student competition, held at the OCE Discovery Conference earlier this week. 

The students competed with their capstone project – uNav, supervised by Igor Ivkovic,  against 7 other finalists from other Ontario universities. Previous uNav accomplishments include winning the first-prize at MSCI symposium and competing as finalists at the Esch Entrepreneurship Awards.
