A new online art gallery and artist community showcases the work of emerging Canadian artists.
artterra, the soil for artists to grow
Artterra was co-founded by Systems Design Engineering (SYDE) graduate and artist Parisa Golchoubian (MASc '17) to enhance the Canadian art ecosystem. The online gallery and marketplace is a platform for the next generation of Canadian artists to grow their careers and for art lovers to support local artists by purchasing one-of-a-kind pieces. To date, over 400 artists have joined the artterra community network.
Within artterra's mission is a social venture, with a portion of each sale donated to Canadian charities. They also aim to reduce their environmental footprint by having artists ship the work directly to buyers using eco-friendly packaging.
