Two Systems Design Engineering graduates are among the five Waterloo Engineering alumni who have made the impressive Forbes 30 Under 30 lists for 2024.
Peter Gokhshteyn (BASc ‘18, systems design engineering) co-founded Toronto-based Tempo Labs with Kevin Michael (BASc ‘19, systems design engineering) in May 2023. The startup aims to make web app development faster and accessible to anyone with AI tools and has already raised over $1.2 million from Y Combinator and General Catalyst. They were recognized in the consumer technology category.
