Jenna Veugen was recently named an Optica Women Scholar. 20 winners are selected each year for this international award which aims to empower the next generation of women leaders in optics and photonics. Jenna is completing her MASc in SYDE with a focus on optical system design, optical imaging, and optical fibre-based systems. She is conducting research on Photon Absorption Remote Sensing (PARS) at PhotoMedicine Labs under the supervision of Dr. Parsin Haji Reza.
