Printable electronics

Printed electronics is the latest direction pursued by the Advanced Flexible Electronics Technology group.

Inkjet printing allows us to deposit a wide variety of materials, from organic semiconductors to conductive nanoparticles, and rapidly develop and prototype novel inks, processing techniques, and electronic devices on a large selection of substrates.

The exciting materials we focus on include

  • Two-dimensional materials (MoS2)
  • Nanoparticles (nanocrystalline cellulose, Ag)
  • Polymers (organic semiconductors, dielectrics, block copolymers)
