Printed electronics is the latest direction pursued by the Advanced Flexible Electronics Technology group.
Inkjet printing allows us to deposit a wide variety of materials, from organic semiconductors to conductive nanoparticles, and rapidly develop and prototype novel inks, processing techniques, and electronic devices on a large selection of substrates.
Ceradrop printer
We currently operate two piezoelectric inkjet printing systems, including a Ceradrop F-series printer with dual printheads for fast, multi-material deposition.
Printed devices with Ceradrop printer
The exciting materials we focus on include
- Two-dimensional materials (MoS2)
- Nanoparticles (nanocrystalline cellulose, Ag)
- Polymers (organic semiconductors, dielectrics, block copolymers)
