History of the Holistic Model: The Reports

History of the Holistic Model at Waterloo

Project teams at Waterloo have been conducting background research on teaching assessment processes since 2014. This site houses the key reports from the Complementary Teaching Assessment Project Team (CTAPT) and the Course Evaluation Project Team (CEPT).

CTAPT Historical Reports

The following reports were prepared by the Complementary Teaching Assessment Project Team (CTAPT). The CTAPT was mandated in the winter of 2018 to research and develop methods for assessing teaching and learning and to provide recommendations based on empirical evidence and feedback consultations with the University of Waterloo.

CEPT Historical Reports

The following reports were prepared by the Course Evaluation Project Team (CEPT). The CEPT was mandated in 2014 to explore the potential for a new campus-wide course evaluation model. Since then, the project team has reviewed the literature on course evaluation and conducted course evaluations across campus with representative stakeholders regarding the development and implementation of a new course evaluation model.
