President
President, Mistry reported on the 2024-2025 General elections. All positions will be open for the new school year. Full-time students in the fall can run if they are not on co-op. Director, Dao will need to get a post made to promote General Election. Nominations are open from March 18-22. Campaigning will take place on March 23 and 24. Voting will happen on March 25 and 26.
President, Mistry reported on the General Members meeting. The General Members meeting is planned to be hosted after general elections are over. It will happen on Wednesday, March 27. It would be good to invite and encourage the new team to come to the meeting. The last regular executive meeting will be on April 2. The general members meeting outlines what the team has been doing this term. All members will speak a little bit about their role. AHSUM will need to move or cancel the March 26 executive meeting due to Grad Class Send-Off. AHSUM can meet in advance on the day of the General Members meeting to make up the time missed from this meeting being canceled.
Executives should make sure they are checking the microwaves and keeping them clean. Director Mughal will add that to her transition documents.
VP, DeSouza is in the process of determining whether a new Plant Ops Work Request needs to be initiated so that Plant Ops can assess the lounge and make furniture renovations.
The AHSUM internal event is supposed to occur next Monday at Crock-a Doodle. Director, Jalili will make a reservation today for next Monday.
VP of Internal Affairs
VP, DeSouza reported that she is looking for support to cover vacant office hours shifts. President, Mistry will do office hours on Tuesdays from 2:00-4:00. Representative, Zohdy will do office hours on Thursdays from 2:00-3:00. Joey, Protacio will do office hours on Wednesdays from ... These changes fix the current gaps in office hours.
VP, DeSouza reported on Grad Formal tickets sales and procedures to sell tickets. All documents are in the AHSUM MS Teams channel in a sub-folder called Grad Formal in the Office Hours folder.
VP of Education
VP, Szajbely reported on Bites and Insights. VP, Szajbely reported that Bites and Insights was overall a success. The food was great. AHSUM executives received a lot of good feedback. There was a lull in the middle of the event with a lack of professors present. It is hard to prevent this issue. When a form was sent out to all the profs, there were supposed to be at least two profs present at all timeslots. If profs who said they can attend are not present during times that they said they would be there, AHSUM could pass their office and see if they are there. The catering came a little late because they got lost while delivering food. AHSUM should consider permanently having our own set of serving utensils.
VP, Szajbely reported that an employee from the co-op office will be attending the executive meeting next week.
VP of Finance
No report from VP, Halley.
Directors
No report from Director, Dao
No report from Director, Seedat.
No report from Director, Mughal
No report from Director, Sidhu.
Director, Jalili reported on the Mystery Bus event. Director, Jalili will be submitting a deposit for the event. There is a $5.00 deposit per person. The event is on March 24. The bus will leave campus at 9:00 a.m. sharp. The booking is for 10:30 a.m. Director, Jalili would like to know if a buffer time after the event should be put in place for people to purchase food or shop before catching the bus back to campus. The bus will leave the facility to return to campus at 1:00 p.m. If AHSUM doesn’t get a lot of sales, AHSUM can consider opening the event up to non-Health students and charging more to non-Health students. AHSUM will try to get a promotional post out tomorrow. Director, Jalili will look into securing a Grilled Cheese food truck. Director Jalili reported on yesterday’s Mindful Monday. For Mindful Mondays yesterday, there were some conflicts with Catering Services picking up their drink containers late. Representative, Zohdy suggested that for the last Mindful Monday event of the term, AHSUM could give out Sweet Lou’s cookies.

Reports
Other Business
AHSUM will work on securing an executive team photo. AHSUM didn’t promote event cards this term. The event cards were given out at a few events but not all of them this term. For students who were collecting stamps, we AHSUM should have a separate draw for a prize in fairness to those students who have been taking the initiative to collect event stamps
New Business
Be it resolved that the Chair adjourns the meeting at 06:46 pm.
