President, Hoang called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.

Reports of Officers

President

President, Hoang reported that the Boogie Bingo event went very well on November 15. AHSUM could try to buy Bingo chips next time. AHSUM could increase the budget for the event next time. The sign-ups for the event worked. Next time, we could try a drop-in style to speed up the event entry. WatCard tap for event entry stopped mid-way through the event because it was going too slow. 

President, Hoang reported on the executive team photo which is happening next week. The photo theme is pyjamas. 

President, Hoang reported on the upcoming General Members Meeting. The General Members Meeting involves all executive members providing an update about what they have worked on this term. President, Hoang will be sending a PowerPoint later this week for all exec members to fill out their slides. AHSUM has to vote on a constitution change and AHSUM will need to reach a quorum. The general members meeting will be happening on November 30. 

President, Hoang reported that the Breakfast Fundraiser is happening on November 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Warm Up Wednesday will be occurring simultaneously. Food will be served while supplies last. President, Hoang will be working on determining where to donate the money

President, Hoang reported on the potential Mystery Bus event that AHSUM is looking into running. AHSUM would need to secure a bus before purchasing any tickets. AHSUM cannot choose any bus company they want. AHSUM can only use bus companies that are approved. 

President, Hoang reported on executive members needing to write transition documents soon. 

VP of Internal Affairs

No report from VP, DeSouza. 

 

VP of Education

VP, Mistry reached out to an alum who attends school at CMCC about doing an alumni takeover and is waiting to confirm details.

VP, Mistry reported that the sweater vendor will send a confirmation on their prices. Karl will not be able to make the sweater purchase before the end of the term but will work on doing it by the holiday season. Sweaters will arrive in the new year.

Joeys

Joey, Marsili reported that a deposit needs to be made to secure the Crumby Food Truck. AHSUM needs to select flavours from their catalogue. Flavours that AHSUM selected are Obligatory Chocolate Chip; I’ve Got Buns, Hun; What’s Up Choc; Material Squirrel. Joey, Marsili will email the vendor and confirm these flavours. Joey, Marsili has started to create an internal event form for the event planning. The event will be happening on Monday, November 27. AHSUM needs to confirm parking arrangements for the food truck. Joey, Marsili will forward the invoice to Karl and attach the event ID.
