Emmett completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and his MSc in Kinesiology with the BonES Lab at the University of Waterloo, where his research examined the experiences of people with X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH) during physical activity and exercise. He now aims to build on this work as a PhD student to further support and understand physical activity participation among people with XLH.
