Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen and several BBCR members attended the Seventeenth International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP 2025), held from October 23 to 25, 2025, in Chongqing, China. As the International Advisory Committee Chair, Prof. Shen delivered a speech at the opening session and presented the Best Paper Awards at the banquet.

Awards Received at VTC2025-Fall

Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen, Weihua Zhuang, and our BBCR members attended the 2025 IEEE 102nd Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2025-Fall), held in Chengdu, China, from October 19 to 22, 2025. At the conference’s Awards Luncheon, two of our papers were presented with prestigious awards.

Our work titled “AI-Assisted Network-Slicing Based Next-Generation Wireless Networks” by Xuemin (Sherman) Shen, Jie Gao, Wen Wu, Kangjia Lyu, Mushu Li, Weihua Zhuang, Xu Li, and Jaya Rao, published on the IEEE Open Journal on Vehicular Technology in January 2020, received the 2025 IEEE Vehicular Technology Society OJVT Best Paper Award

In addition, our work titled “Model-Assisted Learning for Environment-Aware Content Delivery in Mobile AR” by Shisheng Hu, Xue Qin, Conghao Zhou, Yingying Pei, Xiaodan Shao, Xinyu Huang, and Xuemin (Sherman) Shen, received the Best Student Paper Award from VTC2025-Fall.
