Prof. H. Vincent Poor and Prof. David Tse gave the distinguished lectures and received the honorary degree of Doctor of Engineering from the University of Waterloo

We warmly welcomed Prof. H. Vincent Poor, the Michael Henry Strater University Professor at Princeton University, and Prof. David Tse, the Thomas Kailath and Guanghan Xu Professor at Stanford University, to visit our BBCR group on June 13-15, 2019. They not only gave distinguished lectures, titled "Machine Learning Meets Mobile Communications" (Prof. Poor) and "Operating Blockchains Near Physical Limits" (Prof. Tse), at the Department of Electrical of Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, both also received the honorary degree of Doctor of Engineering from the University of Waterloo during the convocation on June 15, 2019.
