According to Research.com, Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen is ranked #18 globally and #1 in Canada in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and #36 globally and #3 in Canada in Computer Science, highlighting his outstanding contributions to these fields. In recognition of the sustained leadership and transformative impact, Prof. Shen has also received the 2025 Leader Award in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Canada.
