User Fee Rates

Important notes:

  1. Rates are subject to change without notice.
  2. Specifications for the capabilities of each item will be available soon.
  3. A discount will be applied to based on your frequency of use per invoicing period.
  4. STAFF FEES are charged on top of any costs for booking equipment.
  5. All users are expected to bring their own cables.
  6. Charges include used time as well as unused portions of bookings.
  7. The rates below are for academic usage ONLY. Rates for other types of usage are calculated from these as:
    1. Academic, non-Waterloo: 1.35X
    2. Incubator/start-up: 2X
    3. Industrial: 3X
  8. ERL cannot be booked for less than a half-day period.
  9. All booking requests require at least 72 hours of notice, and are processed by the facility manager. Please contact them for more information.
  10. Please contact CIARS if you are interested in a per-term or per-annum subscription to our facility.
