It is with deep sorrow and emotion that we share with you the sad news about Prof. Ralph Haas, Founder-Director of CPATT, who passed away suddenly last Friday. On behalf of the researchers, students and friends of CPATT, we present our sincere condolences to Prof. Haas's family, friends, colleagues and former students. Prof. Haas's loss is a huge loss for all of us both at the personal and the professional levels. His outstanding contributions to pavement engineering will continue to inspire many generations of the pavement engineers in Canada and around the world. Thank you Ralph for the great legacy you left behind you.
