New NTAI Grants Awarded to CPATT

CPATT has received new Northern Transportation Adaptation Initiative (NTAI) Grants and will conduct researches by

• comparing the magnitude and rate of downward heat transfer of various road surface materials commonly used in the North;
• determining whether a significant relationship exists between previously collected airport pavement temperature and air temperature; and
• outlining a set of best practices for materials selection for territorial governments, municipalities, contractors, and private builders.

NTAI's most recent newsletter has also highlighted these researches that will be implemented by CPATT.
