How does a peacebuilder get involved with tech? How does a techie get involved with peacebuilding? This event will shine a spotlight on the value of enabling encounters between peacebuilders and technologists by providing a window into the work of Build Up, a collaborative that has been working at the intersection of peacebuilding and technology for over a decade. Members of the Build Up team and their partners have produced knowledge and tools for peacebuilders in dozens of countries around the world that have led to greater inclusion in peace processes, challenged hate speech, and influenced the design and governance of technology.
