Demine Robotics: A Year in Review

Demine Robotics has had a very busy year.
Demine has been busy expanding their team in Cambodia, and has grown its Canadian office based at the Epp Peace Incubator at the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement (CPA).
In 2018, Demine shipped their third landmine excavator prototype to Cambodia for testing with the Cambodian Mine Action Centre. They were showcased at the Cambodia National Landmine Conference, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh, and at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Regional Mine Action Center's inaugural regional workshop in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Throughout this year, Demine built its latest landmine excavator in Cambodia and began live munition testing with the Cambodian Peacekeeping Forces in October. With more field trials coming up in December, Demine will continue to stay busy until the end of 2018.

For a non-exhaustive look at what Demine has been up to in 2018, check out our photo gallery "Demine Robotics: A Year in Review." The CPA looks forward to continuing to support the work of this PeaceTech startup as they move into another exciting year!
