It's Peace week! Every year, on September 21 and the week surrounding it, the world celebrates the International Day of Peace. Join us in the celebration and find an event you would like to attend.

For the past 2 years, Conrad Grebel University College has initiated a series of community events to mark this day. Now, in 2017, we are opening up this initiative to the wider community of Kitchener-Waterloo.

The International Day of Peace is an opportunity to both celebrate the peace that is present in our families, communities, and world, while recognizing the work that still needs to be done to bring about much-needed change. Peace Week events will be multifaceted; some will be celebrations while others will challenge us.

Opportunities range from an art exhibit exploring the theme of dignity through paintings created by people with Alzheimer's and dementia, to the St. Paul's 14th Annual Traditional Pow Wow in Waterloo Park.

Join us this week and attend an event that is intended to encourage us to think about peace in new ways, and deepen our commitment to creating change in the ways that make sense for us.
