About Rotaract

The University of Waterloo Rotaract Club is a self-governing, self-supporting, university-based, Rotary-sponsored service club engaging University of Waterloo students and community members of the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

Rotaract focuses on the development of

young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces through a variety of activities including service projects (both locally and internationally), professional development, leadership development, mentorship and fellowship.  Events are organized by and catered to by the membership of the club so we get to sculpt our experience based on the interests of our members.

One of the key phrases of the University of Waterloo is: Ideas start here! As a club we desire to embrace this mantra to its fullest. Therefore, we encourage our members to be social entrepreneurs and come up with creative ways to serve our community and the world in which we live.
