About Food not Waste

Elle Crevits is the co-founder and CEO of Food Not Waste. Food Not Waste was an organization created to address the growing issue of food waste in a society where many are still food insecure. Food Not Waste works with restaurants and food retailers in the Kitchener Waterloo area to gather and redistribute surplus food to community organizations. Completing a successful 5 week pilot in the summer of 2015, which provided approximately 6,000 meals worth of food to those in need, Elle hopes to continue developing Food Not Waste into a full-time program in the fall.
