Program Assistant
Katherine "Katie" Fry (she/her) first came to the Kindred Credit Union Center for Peace Advancement (The Centre) in 2021 as a co-op student in UWaterloo's Arts and Business (ARBUS) program. After receiving her Master of Social Work degree from York University, she returned to Waterloo. At the Centre, Katie supports content creation, marketing, programs, and community-building. As a Registered Social Worker, she specializes in supporting people through aging, grief, and end-of-life transitions.
