Climate Students First Meeting
It’s time to tackle climate change - together. Climate Students is a student-led group interested in facilitating research, education, and action on climate change at UW, in the community, and on the global stage.
All are invited to join us for our first meeting on October 14th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Environment 1 Courtyard. The discussion will go from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, following which there will be time for students to mingle and enjoy food and refreshments.
Climate Students is an evolution of the University of Waterloo Coalition for Sustainable Development (UWCSD) that was organized last fall for COP19. Our new group is affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3), a research institute on campus.
