Pacesetters’ is a unique, fast-paced afternoon where alumnae, friends, and faculty share career advice in areas ranging for soft skills to technical skills, entrepreneurship to leadership, industry to academic, and everything in between!

LADIES WHO L(A)UNCH
Speed Networking Luncheon presented by Women in Mathematics (WiM) Committee
Time: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Registration and Lunch: 11:30 am -12:00 pm
Location: DC 1301 (Fishbowl)
A fun way to get advice, make connections, and gain visibility in a variety of industries and career paths in a short period of time. Registering is your first step to building a network with academia, industry, and business leaders.  Your future self will thank you!

We will be offering a fabulous lunch menu: sushi, samosas, meatballs, chicken satays, sandwiches, and sweet desserts.

SPEAK UP! 
Pecha Kucha Plus presented by Math #HeForShe
Time: 1:45 pm – 3:45 pm
Location: DC 1302
Japanese for chit-chat, Pecha Kuchas (pronounced pe-chak-cha) are designed to inspire. Students will have a chance to hear from working alumnae about “the best piece of advice that they wished they had received”. The “plus” will be a lively panel at the end moderated by Chair of the Faculty’s HeForShe committee, Raouf Boutaba. Light refreshments provided. 

TECH BUBBLE 
Networking Café presented by Women in Computer Science (WiCS)
Time: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location: DC 1301 (Fishbowl)
Students will have the opportunity to sip bubble tea in a casual café and ask alumnae working in the local tech scene “anything”. Light refreshments provided.
