The Computing and Financial Management (CFM) program is happy to welcome the return of Professor Yuying Li as its new CFM Co-Director.

Professor Li is a full-time professor in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science and brings a wealth of knowledge to the program with her teaching and research in Computational Finance and data mining. Her previous experience serving as Associate Dean, Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Mathematics also provides her with a great understanding of University policies and administration.

Professor Li first served as Co-Director in July 2011, overseeing the program until June 2013. As Co-Director, Professor Li is responsible for supervising the CFM Program Manager, overseeing curriculum changes, reviewing transfer requests, and approving academic progression. She joins Associate Professor, Alan Huang from the School of Accounting and Finance in the Co-Director role. Their combined expertise in computer science and finance will help to ensure the long-term success of the CFM program.

With the start of Professor Li in the CFM Co-Director role, we thank outgoing CFM Co-Director, Professor, George Labahn for his five years of support overseeing the program for many years of success.
