How to update a page in the CMS

As you're going through your course, if you come across a spelling mistake, or other content you would like to edit, you can make the change yourself!

Step-by-step video:


  1. To edit a page in your course, you can either click on the 'Edit this page' link, under the User Icon in the header, or click the 'Edit this page' link in the middle of the footer at the bottom of the page.

  1. Once you've clicked on the link, it will take you into the back end of the CMS for editing, with an ‘approved’ popup.
  2. Click on the first button: 'Re-edit'. This will take you to the editor to make your changes to the content.

  1. Click to place your cursor in the place you would like to make your change, and edit the text. If there are further edits you'd like to make, you can continue throughout the rest of the page. 
  2. Once you've made the changes, in the top right hand corner, click on the 'Save' button.
  3. Then, to publish your changes, click on 'Workflow', then 'Submit and Approve'.

Your changes have now been saved and published to the live site! Note: It may take a few minutes for changes to appear on the live version of your page.
