Engineering prof wins national award to pursue carbon nanotechnology research

A University of Waterloo engineering professor has been awarded a prestigious 2020 E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship.

Aiping Yu, a professor of chemical engineering, is one of six recipients across Canada to receive a fellowship announced today by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. The award will help establish a world-leading carbon nanotechnology centre at Waterloo.
