"Thank you to all the teams who submitted an application for this round of Waterloo’s Chronic Disease Prevention Initiative (CDPI) Seed Fund Award," says a note from the CDPI. "The initiative offers seed grants of up to $10,000 to bring together new multidisciplinary teams and increase their success in applications for external funding."
"We are pleased to announce that 7 multidisciplinary teams were successful this round. Teams include researchers from 10 different departments or research centres across campus."

The Waterloo Warrior Football program invites you to join fellow alumni and friends of the program for a great day of fun, golf, and prizes on Friday, August 21 at the Foxwood Golf Club. All are welcome regardless of skill level. The tournament will have a shotgun start with a scramble.
You can register individually or as a team, and the event will go rain or shine. Appropriate golf attire is required. Registration is $150.00 per person plus HST and includes:

Registration opens at 11:30 a.m., with a BBQ lunch at 11:45 a.m. The shotgun start is at 1:00 p.m., and the buffet dinner, including prizes and draws, takes place at 5:30 p.m.
