Join the conversation at the President's Town Hall meeting, which takes place today in Federation Hall at 10:30 a.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the President as he delivers a "state of the University" address and introduces the University's Strategic Plan 2020-2025, and engage in a dialogue with the President and members of the University's senior leadership. If you don't feel like braving the cold and snow outside to make the trek to Fed Hall, watch the livestream from the cozy confines of your office or cubicle.
The highlight of the events is the Q&A session that follows the president's presentation, where people can ask questions from the floor, via the livestream dialogue window, or on social media by tweeting with the hashtag #UWth.

Halloween has come and gone, and now everyone’s favourite holiday is just around the corner. And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by “sleighing” the annual KW Santa Claus parade?
On Saturday, November 16, Santa Claus is coming to town and UWaterloo faculty, staff and students will be there to welcome him. Join us as we walk along the route handing out 8,000(!!) candy canes and wishing onlookers a very happy holiday season. This is a great way to engage with our community and rep our UWaterloo pride. Future Warriors will surely be there, and we think you should be too!
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Frederick St in Kitchener. Meet us there by 10:00 a.m. or join us by booking your spot on the bus at 9:00 a.m. to head over together via the SLC. Either way, save your spot through our Ticketfi event page. Staff and faculty are welcome to contact WUSA for a code to waive the fee and will receive a free hot chocolate if they ride with us. All participants will also get a $5 coupon for INews!
A long-standing tradition in the KW community, the parade is an event you don’t want to miss. So grab a co-worker, dig up those Santa hats from storage, and help us rep UWaterloo at the Santa Claus parade.
A message from the University of Waterloo United Way campaign
On Tuesday, November 5 the campus came together to support United Way at Souper Thursday. This third annual event raised just over $1,200 for the United Way.
We had a great afternoon full of tasty homemade soup, networking, and learning about the community resources and programs United Way supports. We’d like to give a special thank you to all of our celebrity chefs, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Check out all of the photos from the campaign on Facebook and remember, it’s not too late to make your 2019 donation.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
