Congratulations to Carmen Liang for successfully proposing her Masters (MSc) thesis topic on Wednesday, June 29th. Carmen is focusing on manual matering handling (MMH) tasks, and how they are designed for workers across all body types. She hopes that her research will help to quantify shoulder strategies for workers of all body compositions, as well as inform future MMH task design.
Jackie successfully proposed her Masters (MSc) thesis on Wednesday, June 15th. Her topic is focusing on breast cancer survivors who have completed treatment but are experiencing shoulder pain and dysfunction. Over the next year, Jackie hopes to quantify some of that dysfunction with her research and inform future rehabilitation strategies for this population.
