Jovey Sokhal

I'm a student at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and deeply passionate about healthcare and research. I've gotten involved in different Science leadership and volunteer, which has made my university experience so much more meaningful. I've always been fascinated by human behaviour and psychology, and I’m hoping to explore it more seriously to see if it’s something I want to build a future around. Outside of school, I absolutely love travelling, and I've been to about 10 countries so far! Some of my favourite adventures include scuba diving with stingrays and sea turtles in the Caribbean and horseback riding over 5,000 feet up in the Himalayas. I’m always excited to try new experiences and keep learning, whether it's through academics, travel, or life in general.
