Getting Started in LEARN - In person

Please note: this workshop is intended for instructors that will be using LEARN in the upcoming term.

These are two-hour in-person sessions that will introduce you to LEARN (D2L Brightspace), uWaterloo's learning management system for presenting course activities and resources in on-campus and blended courses. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Use the LEARN environment to communicate with your students via Announcements and Classlist
• Make decisions around the most effective way to organize your course material in the Content area
• Set up the course assessment scheme in the Grades area
• Use provided resources to support exploring more of the tools available within LEARN on your own
