Resolved

The Campus eBookstore platform experienced a network slowdown due to an internal network issue with our hosting provider that resulted in constrained traffic to the CEI servers.

The slow down occurred during the busy times of the day on September 6th and 7th. A solution to the internal issue was developed and implemented early afternoon on September 7th and the system has returned to optimal performance. Students should be able to purchase and access all digital content without any issues going forward.

As you may be aware, there have been issues accessing digital course materials purchased through W Store.

Campus eBookstore, the vendor that provides digital course materials to institutions across North America, is experiencing very high volumes. This has led to slow processing times for requests for digital access codes. You may have also received an error message when trying to access your course materials digitally.

In the short term, we’re told that if you try to redeem your access code during non-peak times (e.g., in the late evening or early morning), you should be able to access your course materials. We understand that this is not ideal and assure you that we are working very closely with the vendor to fully resolve this issue. We have alerted course instructors to the problem.

Please follow W Store social media for updates.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
