What is happening? WebEx has scheduled an update to the WebEx Desktop Meetings App. This update will change WebEx Meetings Desktop App to WebEx App.
When is this happening? Thursday November 17th from 8:00 PM to the morning of November 18th.
Why is this happening? Cisco is streamlining the WebEx platform.
What is the impact? Minimal impact is expected.
- The in-meeting experience will remain similar to previous versions with some added features.
- The WebEx App includes embedded offline collaboration tools for follow-up communications after live meetings.
- Images below show the visual changes that will appear in the new version of the WebEx App.
