SMS (Short Message Service, i.e., text message) notifications will no longer be supported or available for Waterloo LEARN starting on July 25, 2024. This change is in response to the deprecation of this service by mobile providers. Phone numbers will be deleted from LEARN data once they are no longer needed to send notifications.
Users can receive mobile push notifications using the Brightspace Pulse app. These can be adjusted in the Settings area of the Pulse app once you have logged in with your Waterloo credentials. Users can also subscribe to email notifications in place of SMS notifications. Click on your name in the top-right corner of LEARN, then click Notifications to adjust these settings.
