The research of Ms. Meilin Chen (MSc, jointed supervised with Prof. Jennifer Boger), Age-Related Changes in Vibro-Tactile EEG Response and Its Implications in BCI Applications: A Comparison Between Older and Younger Populations, is featured in the most recent issue of IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering. The study highlighted the effect of aging in brain neurophysiology, and its implications to the research in BCI algorithm development for neural rehabilitation applications for the aging population, such as stroke and Parkinson Disease.
