The people you met and the things you were involved in are important and will take you far. Recent Engineering Alumni Council
The Recent Engineering Alumni Council consists of Waterloo Engineering alumni, selected to maintain a support infrastructure for young alumni (graduates of the last decade), promote a lasting community of Waterloo Engineering alumni, and support our current engineering students. They work to support the strategy, design, and implementation of our young alumni program at Waterloo Engineering. Their work is focused on three main areas: events, giving back and communications, all with the goal of fostering a strong, well-connected student and alumni community.
Proud but Precarious: 2SLGBTQ+ Engineering alumni perspectives
Join 2SLGBTQ+ Waterloo Engineering alumni and current students in a conversation about their journey from student to the workplace, how they leverage and navigate their 2SLGBTQ+ identity as current/future engineers, and the historical and emerging challenges facing this community. Examples of anti-2SLGBTQ+ actions that should concern the engineering community include the resistance to move toward gender-neutral washrooms in building designs and development proposals’ disregard for Hanlan’s Point’s cultural importance as Canada’s oldest Queer space.
Brains & Brews: recent engineering alumni Toronto trivia
Calling all trivia aficionados looking for an opportunity to reconnect with the Waterloo Engineering community! The Recent Engineering Alumni Council (REAC) invites you to an evening of trivia and pub fare at Hemingway's Restaurant & Bar. Team up with friends or join solo to test your knowledge, compete for bragging rights, and reconnect with fellow engineering alumni over food and drinks. Space is limited so sign up early!

The Recent Engineering Alumni Council (REAC) invites alumni to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the St. Louis Cardinals on September 13. Tickets include a ticket in section 517 and a Blue Jays & University of Waterloo co-branded tumbler.

Hello friends, we are back again with another blog post! We have something a little bit different this time: an interview with a recent alumni and one of our very own Recent Engineering Alumni Council Members, Sarah Mostowich!
