Ceremony

Ceremonies

Grab a free hot drink, a snack, and join us in welcoming our community members during our Opening Ceremony, held on the first day of the festival. The Closing Ceremony will be held on the last day and will celebrate arts, culture, and the ENVironment community with plenty of food and drink. The ceremonies feature a diverse mix of speakers and talent, you won't want to miss out!

Workshops

Our goal is to facilitate workshops that uplift equity and justice in sustainability, promoting collaboration and inclusion in climate advocacy. Popular favourites include candle making, spooncarving, and salsa dancing. Workshops are hosted by both faculty and off-campus partners, highlighting everything our Faculty has to offer!

Student Showcase and Academic Panel

The academic panel is a pillar of ENVigorate, bringing together faculty, researchers, and students for a guided discussion on that year's theme. Following the panel is the student showcase, formerly known as the Research Symposium. The Student Showcase is a space where graduate and undergraduate students alike can share and discuss their projects. All work is welcome! All ENV students are welcome to register to present, and all alumni, faculty, and staff (even outside of the faculty) are welcome to attend.

SWAP Shop and Fashion Show

Bring in your lightly used books, accessories, clothes, or household goods, and swap them with any item of your choice! This is a great opportunity to do some Spring cleaning, while also promoting sustainable consumption. Following the iconic SWAP shop, is the sustainable fashion show, where student models will show off fully thrifted and upcycled outfits. Stop by to vamp your home and wardrobe, and get some fashion inspo!
