Environment Technology & Instructional Support (ETIS) offers technical, course and research support to students, staff, and faculty members in the Faculty of Environment.

Our name reflects the two main components of what we do:

• Environment Technology - Through tools such as geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing, we enable students and researchers to understand a multitude of environmental, economic, and urban issues.
• Instructional Support - We provide tools (such as computers, statistical analysis software) to allow students and researchers to analyze various problems relating to our natural environment and our communities. Through tools such as computer-aided design (CAD), we enable people in the Faculty of Environment to create images and 3D visualizations of various urban environments.

We operate several facilities around the Faculty of Environment, including the computer labs, makerspace, and the Ecology Lab.
