    1. Senate Undergraduate Council (University)
    2. Undergraduate Operations Committee (University)
    3. Enrollment Management Committee (University)
    4. the Faculty of Environment Faculty Council
    5. the Faculty of Environment Executive Committee
    6. the Faculty of Environment Faculty Performance Review Committee
    7. Waterloo Advisory Council - the Faculty of Environment Group
    8. Recruitment and Promotions Committee
  3. Supervise:
    1. Manager of Ecology Lab
    2. Administrative Assistant to the Associate Deans (along with the Dean)
    3. Recruitment and Promotion Coordinator
  4. Responsible for all undergraduate issues of the Faculty:
    1. Course calendar
    2. the Faculty of Environment publications
    3. Course offerings of the Faculty of Environment courses in regular and distance education programs (in consultation with the Dean)
    4. Administrator of appeals up to Faculty level
    5. Resolve disputes prior to formal appeal between students and faculty members
    6. Undergraduate exchange programs
  5. Responsible for recruitment and promotion activities of the Faculty (most of these activities will generally be delegated to the Recruitment and Promotion Co-ordinator).
  6. Represent Faculty on University committees dealing with undergraduate matters.
  7. Represent Faculty on University committees dealing with recruitment and promotion (this activity may be delegated).

Informal Activities

  1. Provide administrative support to the Dean:
    1. Undergraduate data and student projections
    2. Discussions of upcoming issues - administrative and policy
  2. Available to faculty and staff wishing counsel and advice on undergraduate issues.
  3. Liaise with:
    1. Scheduling and units regarding course changes and course offerings
    2. Associate Dean regarding access to courses
    3. Registrar and Registrar's staff regarding rules and regulations, calendar activities, and student issues.
