This month's WIN Thematic Seminar will highlight the Next Generation Energy Systems theme with research presented by Niloo Misaghian and Professor Jeff Gostick from the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Join the Quantum Spin Liquids and Criticality in Multipolar Materials. These seminars are a joint initiative between the Institute for Quantum Computing and the Physics Department.

This panel discussion will bring together voices from the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism (EDI-R), the Office of Indigenous Relations, Campus Wellness, and the Sustainability Office at the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Shari Fox, will be returning to campus to meet with graduate students and professors across Waterloo's six faculties. This is going to be a unique opportunity to connect in a small group with Dr. Fox about her research in the Arctic working alongside Inuit collaborators.

Portia’s Julius Caesar represents a radical adaption of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. With a focus on the voices and perspectives of the female characters, this play follows the stories of Portia and Calpurnia, two powerful women married to Rome's most influential men, Brutus and Caesar.

Aimée Craft, Professor Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa and University Research Chair Nibi miinawaa aki inaakonigewin: Indigenous governance in relationship with land and water, will present: Recognizing the spiritedness and agency of water: Personhood and other legal approaches.

In this virtual “brown-bag,” Dr. Sunabacka will reflect on her creative process, and share some original music, including excerpts from her recent work, “The Place Where Creator Rests.”
