Building upon the knowledge from the Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) Introductory Seminar – which introduced film growth techniques and potential applications – the Quantum – Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility (QNFCF) and Transformative Quantum Technologies (TQT) will be hosting PVD Seminar: Part 2.

This event will expand on the materials covered in the first seminar. We will be joined by Mike Miller (Angstrom Engineering) who will be further exploring properties of thin films, process parameters and associated effects, statistical process control, and surface analysis techniques.

Nanotechnology Research to Industry Keynote
Robert Menegotto is the CEO of MANTECH, a manufacturer of innovative water and soil quality analyzers. With 25+ years of experience and observing 100s of utilities and laboratories struggling with inefficient water quality testing, Robert saw an opportunity to develop faster, simpler, and greener solutions.

The third and fourth-year Knowledge Integration students invite you to discover the outcomes of 8-months of research, design, prototyping and collaboration. Under the theme of Waterloo's Global Futures, discover two 225 square feet museum exhibits on the benefits of hobbies and the perception of safety at night, as well as senior honours project posters on the topic of AI, food security, social media and much more!
