Indigenous Commitment Ceremony – Cedar Circle and Pipe Ceremony

The Indigenous peoples of the University of Waterloo will ask Vivek Goel, President and Vice-Chancellor, for a full commitment to reconciliation, Indigenization and decolonization at the institution.

At 10:30 a.m. there will be a Cedar Circle, which will immediately be followed by a Pipe Ceremony and a traditional feast on the B.C. Matthews Hall (BMH) Green.

In this workshop, Rachel Figueiredo, Entrepreneurship & Management Sciences Librarian, will teach you how to research your ideas to determine if they would make a good business. Students attending this session will learn the basics of market and industry research – what it is and how to do it – by getting hands-on experience using the Library’s market research resources.
