Knowledge Integration Seminar: The Interdisciplinary nature of Technical Sales

At an eCommerce startup, the nature of the business means we work with retailers from various industries/ verticals and the ability to speak their language(s) can be critical in growing relationships and earning their business. In this talk, I would like to discuss how my background in KI has enabled me in creating solutions, delivering demos, and having meetings that prospects can resonate really well with.

Research Talks, a public event and panel discussion, will take place on Tuesday, October 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Abe Erb, Uptown Waterloo, 15 King Street South, Waterloo. The event, “Changing health disparities: Affording people in our community fair and equitable opportunities to be healthy,” will feature several panelists who will explore factors that influence our health in positive and negative ways, and how we can, as a city and community, work to reduce health inequities for people in our region.

Indigenous Commitment Ceremony – Cedar Circle and Pipe Ceremony

The Indigenous peoples of the University of Waterloo will ask Vivek Goel, President and Vice-Chancellor, for a full commitment to reconciliation, Indigenization and decolonization at the institution.

At 10:30 a.m. there will be a Cedar Circle, which will immediately be followed by a Pipe Ceremony and a traditional feast on the B.C. Matthews Hall (BMH) Green.
